Scope of Work

3. Application Preparation (PPQ 587)
- • Collect and validate facility and contact information
- • Collect and assess product information, such as the following:
- ∘ Scientific names
- ∘ Origin data
- ∘ Treatment documentation
- ∘ Commodity process type
- ∘ Intended use
- ∘ Shipping method
- • Prepare the PPQ 587 form in eFile and attach required supporting documents (e.g., product descriptions, SOPs, prior permits if any)
4. Permit Submission and Monitoring
- • Submit the application on behalf of the client
- • Communicate with USDA-APHIS to address requests for additional information or clarification
5. Permit Issuance and Acceptance
- • Confirm and review permit conditions
- • Accept final permit in eFile and forward USDA-issued copy to the client
6. Post-Issuance Support
- • Provide guidance on permit renewal, and recommendations for related correspondences (if applicable)
